Have had over 4 inches according to the gauge outside the qhut when I emptied it about an hour ago. So far none inside, at least in the floor. Have a few minor leaks in the old greenhouse roof and a couple where the newest section attaches onto the 2 story part but nothing major.
Been working on getting stuff ready to put on auction and in our store. Set up a new blog to put the auction pictures as E-Bay charges way too much to use them to host pictures. For what it’s worth the new blog is Bluesprings Bazaar. Not sure if I will leave the stuff up after it’s sold or delete the posts.
Did a little work on the side of the roof where it connects the trailer to the 2 story section in one of the lulls this afternoon. Put some wet or dry tar on but it wasn’t. Didn’t stick worth a damn. Will get some more and redo it when it dries out a bit. Gonna add some more metal to the area too just to make sure we don’t take water in that way.
Walked down to the creek around noon and it was running about half way up the bank. Suspect it is close to the top now. Keep hoping the rain will stop soon but radar looks like we have several more hours of it to go, but not as hard as it has been.
Cooked some pork chops for supper. Will try to get the recipe put up here tomorrow. Am not up to it right now. Was one of my concoctions and turned out quite good. Will certainly do them that way again.
Think I am gonna do a bit of browsing and then call it a night. Till tomorrow (unless we float away)…
