Bottomed out at 12.0 F here last night. Got up to 40.8 F today. Tis 23.5 F as I type this at 8:18 pm cdt so will be another cold one tonight. Got the woodburner going almost wide open and it’s keeping the temp in the mid 60’s down here and mid 70’s up in the bedroom. Using quite a bit of wood the past few days. Will have to cut more over the weekend so it’ll have time to dry out a bit before being needed in a week or so.
Mailed out a couple of E-Bay packages today, went by the bread store and got a couple of loaves of whole wheat sandwich bread from the 2 for a $1 table, then went to Jacksonville where Cat had a dentists appointment. I sat in the truck and read till she got through then we came back home. Got in the firewood for the evening and that’s been about it for the day. Gonna try to get down to Calcis tomorrow so Cat can work on her mom’s computer. Will see when it gets here. Till then…
