Today is Towel Day. Don’t forget your towel!

Towel Day is an annual celebration on the 25th of May, as a tribute to the late author Douglas Adams (1952-2001). On that day, fans around the universe proudly carry a towel in his honour.

    Hey–a towel can really do a great job if you have a bad back! Use it to pull your feet up to your chest several times each, and it’s amazing how it can help!

    And if that doesn’t do it, the towel is still good for absorbing blood when they do the surgery…..

    Seriously, when I go out to attack the small pine trees, I’ll put a towel around my neck both to honor Douglas Adams, and also to soak up some of the massive humidity-induced sweat that will be produced…..
