Another one of those days

Was planning on painting at least part of the roof this morning, however was unable to find all the bits needed to do so until after it got too hot to attempt it. Went up this evening after the sun had gone down enough to get up there and not cook me and did a bit of caulking on the east second floor wall only to discover that it really needs to be resheathed. Guess I will go up in the morning and paint as much of the roof as I can and then when the sun moves enough off the wall to get back up there, go up and start on putting new plywood over the old. For now I am gonna go and read a bit and then call it a night. Till tomorrow… 😉

One Response to “Another one of those days”

  1. Steve Goodwin Says:

Another hot day today–Friday, that is…got most of the stuff palleted and ready to go. Have one pallet I am going to add some computers to Monday, and they will come after it Tuesday, hopefully. We have another place that is coming sometime (don’t have a date/time yet) and will pick up “anything with a power cord” so we will get rid of some other stuff then too.

After that, I did lunch, checked out one computer, and then went home and napped for about 2 1/2 hours. Cooked spaghetti for supper (because the wife had a dream that we were at Tim Allen’s house while she was napping, and he fed us spaghetti, and that made her want spaghetti–I can’t make this stuff up…) and now we are doing financial planning, with an eye toward getting some new furniture, possibly. So, I have to go balance the checkbook. Wish me luck…

Hope today went well. Have a good one!
