Franken passes law denying fed contracts to companies that support rape of employees – Boing Boing

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) tried to block the amendment, saying that it was a “a political attack directed at Halliburton.” Franken replied, “This amendment does not single out a single contractor. This amendment would defund any contractor that refuses to give a victim of rape their day in court.”

Well, good ol’ boy Jeff Sessions will certainly NOT get my vote when it comes time for him to run for reelection. And I WILL help anyone that runs against him. ARSEHAT!

    Sessions and Shelby both lost my vote LONG ago. I don’t care WHO runs against them, that’s who I’m voting for. There is at least a CHANCE that whoever runs against them remembers that they represent Alabama, not their political party. Hell, I’d go for 50/50 on party/state. That would be 50% more than either of the present senators give…
