Home again

Made the run back from Florence in just over 3 hours. Over all a good trip and time. Saw some old friends and made some new ones. Saw a lot of interesting craft work, leather work, iron work, jewelery and pottery. Slept in the camper shell on the bank of the Tennessee river and were much more comfortable than the last time when we stayed there in a tent. Still had to wipe the moisture on the metal and glass surfaces inside down this morning as we had not opened the windows as we should have. But was much warmer both being off the ground and sleeping in the sleeping bags on top of the futon. Once again wish we had had the foresight to get a booth and sell our wares but maybe we will get things together in time to do it next year. For now am going to go take something for pain and try to catch up on the world a bit then call it a night, so till tomorrow… 😉

One Response to “Home again”

Sounds like fun was had by all.

Had a good weekend, I guess. Spent much of yesterday running around spending money on errands. Spent most of today swapping out KVM switches and reconfiguring computers. (Swapping hard drives, that kind of thing) Getting ready to move my Windoze stuff onto another machine and make the one I’m typing on now a Linux box. Not sure what distro yet–I like PCLinux, and Ubuntu looks interesting, but when I run the Ubuntu 9.10RC live CD a lot of things want proprietary drivers, so it doesn’t work right. I guess If I put it on the hd I can put in the drivers, so…will think some more, and the final release will be out Thursday, so may wait on that. Of course, I can just try them both and see.

About to turn in meself–5:30 comes early…have a good one…
